Recently in 2011, a nude phot of Chris Brown was leaked by an ex-girlfriend. It was leaked right before his new album, F.A.M.E.. The photo was obviously recent since he had his blonde hair and he barely dyed his hair blonde this year.

This scandal involved privacy/intrusion. He is another celebrity who takes a nude photo with the hope that it will stay private. He took the picture and sent it to an unknown female. She then put the picture online for the world to see. It clearly is an invasion of privacy. When the photo leaked on world star hip hop, he tweeted, "WTF!!! Here we go!!!" and later deleted it.

It was quetioned whether it was a plan to leak it right before the new album dropped. It could have been a strategy since it would get a lot of media attention and publicity.

This photo scandal invloved libel as well. It is part of defamation. This scandal caused Chris Brown to be questioned in interviews on radio and television. He was followed by paparazzi's everywhere he went.

  1. Actually, there really is no legal issue here. As a celebrity, he is almost immune from claiming privacy rights, especially if he consented to having the photo taken. As someone who already ruined his own reputation by beating his girlfriend, he doesn't have a claim to defamation either - no reputation to defend.
